Alaska’s seafood companies held picnics for their workers last week to welcome the return of the salmon to Alaska’s water and to celebrate the start of fishing season. Salmon are are integral part of life in Alaska with the fishing industry employing so many people.
Local restaurants such as the Cordova Powder House Bar and Grill is having a fish dinner featuring copper river salmon. The restaurant also host picnics for the companies.
